What I like about this prayer is that it isn't asking God to take massive action or change everything around you. You have to remember God will do things in a way that you may not be comfortable with because He sees it form Heaven. I alweays pray that God use the boxing gloves of mercy when he knocks me into the right path. This prayer is great because the end result should be wisdom and an increase of knowledge. I don't see a down side to any of that.
