Actually, animals do lie (sort of). Animals are deceptive. Deception is the number one way all animals survive. Blow fish make themselves look larger to ward of prey. Chameleons change color to hide from predators. Cats hide in the grass and act like nothing's going on and then they pounce.

Everyone lies. Even animals.
