Back in the 70's here in DFW I used to attend Word of Faith Outreach, which was Robert Tilton's first real congregation, and back before he became corrupt. I can say there was a message delivered every service in tongues and someone interpreted it as well after. Speaking in tongues was very common there and we accepted it as reality.

Good question though as I haven't thought about this in years. They would tell us this is a language Satan cannot under stand and God's language to the saved.

I tell my testimony wherever I go. I posted all that on GLP yesterday and it wasn't posted in secret. It's there for all to see, I want people to see it, they need to see the truth.

I didn't know this woman was copying it, KIND OF WEIRD, to be copying someone is saying for the purpose of using it against them sometime, I think. But I don't know this woman, is she someone I should watch out for or something?

Sorry Salt you don't like to talk about demons, you see I'm not afraid of them, or have them in me like you do. Casting out demons was more than 1/2 of Jesus' ministry and we should be casting them out too. He sent the 70 out and they cast them out and came back rejoicing. But you don't see people on here rejoicing when we talk about how we can cast them out.

when I was younger my mother sent me to a Bible camp where we spoke in tongues... at the time it felt increbibly spiritual... then I fell away from the faith and it felt like maybe we had been manipulated into it--we were quite young--13 yrs old, maybe.

listening to what John Todd (former illuminati) says about it now, I don't know what to make of it, other than that I never shared the words I spoke with anyone and kept them sacred to this day...

still, based on my research, I suspect it is safer to avoid supernatural and stick with Biblical...

God will NEVER speak to us in a confusing manner. There will never be any confusion or lack of understanding. Speaking in glossalalia can mimmick a supernatural or spiritual experience. it is under the same umbrella as hysteria. it is NOT from God.

I agree. I can't see any great harm in not speaking in tongues, unless you knew you had a message from God that had to be shared, in which case there'd be an interpreter.

When God speaks to His people, He uses His holy, divine word. If you are hearing from God, 9 times out of 10 it is with scripture. sometimes it is plain ol' chastisement or simple instruction.
