I will totally agree though, that many corporations are run by Bilderberg, and Skull and Bones members. The NFL was even started by a Skull and Bones member.

This was first proposed by Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan in 1993 As a way to pay for Clintons failed health care reform that was never passed.

Hahaha. I had no idea. I think that's a bit funny because I can't see this coming even close to boosting almost any revenue for Illinois, let alone the whole country. This is why our nation is really fucked up. The amount of money we spend. And people think taxes can fix it? Hell no.

It’s more of a gun control issue, can’t stop the sale of the gun? Stop the sale of ammo instead.



Most important thing is to realize they are still trying to push this on us almost 20 years later; they are very patient and will still be trying this in another 20 years if they do not get it passed.

Once they have a play in the "play book" they will try it every year from then on, sooner or later it will stick.

Oh yeah, I know this is all about gun control. It's been a long and hard battle for a while now. I wouldn't be surprised if more states start doing crap like this. Look at California's ammunition laws that Arnold put in. Real ridiculous.

Snip; “The threat to ban use of traditional ammunition without sound science is the most significant threat facing the firearms and ammunitions industries today,” NSSF senior vice president Larry Keane told The Washington Times. “If the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) were to ban traditional ammunition using the Toxic Substances Control Act, it would destroy the ammunition industry in the U.S., crater conservation funding and create massive supply shortages for consumers.”

The ban is a priority for liberal groups like PETA, the Humane Society and the radical Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) that want legislation to prohibit anything but “nontoxic bullets.” This is mostly an excuse to sue ammo manufacturers out of business. In June, CBD filed suit against the EPA for not addressing the “toxic lead in hunting ammunition that frequently poisons our wildlife.”

Opponents are ridiculing CBD’s “Get the Lead Out” campaign. “The notion that you can get lead out of the environment showed these people should not have passed their high-school chemistry test,” said Mr. Keane. “Lead is in the periodical table. There is no more lead in the environment than there was 100 years ago.”

people will just drive to another county that does not have the tax,, saves money and it will kill gun business in cook county and I bet that is what they are wanting.

Wow. Saw this on Fox just now and didn't even need to read further. Just an attempt to extort money from legal gun owners, it would seem. They won't just up and take the guns outright, they'll keep milking this shit for all its' worth first, by imposing taxes and "fees". They want every last penny. All government, all levels, are out of control now.

That's how it all starts. Fees, taxes, registration, more taxes, higher fees, expensive classes, raising registration fees, higher taxes again...and it goes on and on until finally some asshole gets elected that can brainwash the masses with fancy mass shootings, and we all fall for the gun control thing.

Just a matter of time. There seems no national will to freeze this flood of abuses by our government. Not enough unity necessary to make a difference.
