Nobody is implying that corruption at very high levels was not involved there but that's NOT the whole story !
They also got stabbed in the back and sold out by huge banks and corporations who actually bet on them going bankrupt, the whole CDS scandal !
Quoting: subzero86 Goldman Sachs helped them falsifying their own finances. But Greece knew what it was doing. And poor Germany didn't know.  Which is what I was attempting to convey in the first damn place. Jeebus. I try to stand up for the little guy and get told I don't know anything.
