[ link to www.weartv.com] PENSACOLA, Fla. -- A 10-year-old Pensacola boy is heartbroken after a probation officer shot and killed his dog in front of him. I hate to break it to you haters.... A PROBATION Officer is NOT a Cop! Many of them are social workers who may have wanted to be a cop, but for what ever reason did not make it or go that way. They have VERY limited training and most's P.O.'s have just recently been armed. Many times at the behest of local agencies. Sometimes with the support of the local agencies.
