When we were putting our landscaping in at our house we wanted to know how the property laid out.

We used a compass to see which direction was north. We found that our back wall ran due north.

That was seven years ago. It is NOW regularly off by ten degrees.

I was reading about the pole shifting so decided to set up a simple test, i placed my compass on a wooden bench in my garage and set it on magnetic north, 14 days later it is showing that magnetic north is now 5 degrees further east, nothing has been added or taken away which could affect the compass the compass is rectangular in shape and is exactly where it was placed according to the outline traced round it.
Anybody got any ideas whats causing this.

The compass in my 2000 Chevy silverado has been acting up. At work I always park west but my compass says NW which means my compass has rotated to the east. I'm in North Dakota.

There's a procedure in your owners manual you'll need to perform to recall rate your compass. It involves driving around in circles several times after holding some buttons down, the pole IS moving but not enough for you tards with consumer grad instrumentation to document

If the magnetic feild is changing.....Which relys on the CORE OF THE EARTH.......Then what is happening to the core of the earth?

My guess is its being charged or changed in some way?

good question I reckon theres loads of plausable explanations that would all agree to some sort of 'change'
my thoughts are that the Earth is expanding - the higher harmonics resonate further down the fractal reaching smaller paticals of energy that vibrate into expansion a more spacious magnetically polarised spherical field - expansion on any level means expansion on all levels

Re: magnetic north
"Shielding" a compass when installing in a marine or aircraft application refers to installing it in such a way as to minimize the error induced by metal objects in the vicinity. Bolts, tools, structural etc. it also means installing as absolutely close to the centerline of the vehicle as possible to SHIELD it from the inherent magnetism of the craft.

You people have brought up valid points. I still see no explanation why the futher out the planets get the more gaseous the planets seem to get in our solar system. Different dimensions is the best I can come up with. As in the planets dont appear the same in different dimensions.

As for all this Niberu talk imo I think you have been looking in the wrong places, I would look the the sun and then more distant suns. This may have something to do with the star Saggitarius A and the black hole which mabie is about to become active. Thats just my opinion.

Re: magnetic north
Interesting. We all know the its been drifing for some timeat rapid increase these past few years but 5deg off wow thats more than significant. If that was the case i would think planes and airports would be having a huge problem by now...5deg would account for hundreds if not thousands of miles off course...unless they have a system that analyses the change daily and calibrates...which is probably the case. There is something unreal going on that we are not being told.... magnetic pole shift is the obvious but i think its bigger than that. What if its a physical pole shift....what if earths rotation switches ....how would this effect how we perceive reality?
 Quoting: kcdub0184

there was a news story recently in Boston about the airports strips needing to be changed due to "normal" changes in the poles. Bullshit, im 31 and never heard about this "normal"change before.

Hey guys, just to clarify, no tools on the bench, no earth quakes Alberta is pretty stable, this is not a hoax i have read about the pole shift, so far nobody can explain whats causing it in the scientific community, and from what i can deduct airflights are having to compensate accordingly, Tampa had to repaint all their navigational runway signs.
Set up your own test, see what result you get

Re: magnetic north
OK. A TEST FOR THE TARDS.

go outside. yes. outside your house..open the front door. and take a compass with you.

find a road that you are certain is 'supposed to' run north. Most cities have the streets cut in grids of n-s e-w

now. if you compass has an adjustable declination, DONT TOUCH IT.

now. take a bearing down a n-s street. If you don't know how to do this...THEN YOU FAIL AND HAVE NO RIGHT TO MAKE ANY JUDGEMENT ABOUT ANYTHING IN REGARDS TO MAGNETIC NORTH.

OK. if you do know how to take a bearing, then do so. The bearing will be off of your 'north' a certain number of degrees. Note the number. This is called magnetic declination.

now. look up on google what the magnetic declination should be for your area. You can also refer to topographic maps which will show the declination. Most of these declinations on topos are from the 1970's to 1980's...when the topos were made. The year will be shown next to the declination.

compare your measured declination to what has been previously published.

now you know.

it hasn't changed a whole lot in 30 yrs.

Re: magnetic north
We're having magnetic field fluxuations. I was driving my pickup West down a road I drive on a daily basis. As I was driving I looked down and noticed the internal compass on my pickup said I was traveling South, even though I know for a fact I was traveling West. So I stopped the pickup and checked that compass against a small compass I happened have on a survival tool in my center consol, it also indicated West was now South!!!

I marvelled at this for a bit then drove on, after a few miles the compass on my pickup suddenly switched back to showing the correct direction...which was now Southwest. I again checked the compass on my survival tool and it too was showing the correct direction...

I don't know if it was a magnetic vortex, or just a fluxuation in the field, but my compass wasn't spinning or acting erratic, it was just showing the entirely wrong directions...

OP Tampa's runway was renumbered to reflect it's accurate location.. that is true, but that was a couple of years ago now.

You are talking about a 5 degree change in 14 days.. that is huge!

I don't know how long it took for the Tampa runway to reflect the wrong location number, but I got the impression it took years.

If your test reflects an accurate reflection of the magnetic pole's movement... it must have moved hundreds of miles in 14 days..

MSM talks about magnetic north moving about 40 mile per year not hundreds of miles in 14 days.

I'd sure like to see more people testing your theory and results.

Same thing here.

Sometime in 2010, I finally glued a compass to piece of paper taped to a table.

Through the months I realized that I was seeing at least 3° drift NW to NE. At times it looked like 5°. When I took notice, I would draw lines and dates, so I could ...

...well, the proof is in the needle. After about a year I just stopped. What more was there to do...start a thread?
