This is BS, separation of church and state as they try to force it on people is a myth.

The words separation of church and state never appear in the constitution or the bill of rights.


It was the supremecourt who created the fallacy of "separation of church and state" in 1879 by declaring a letter written by Jefferson to be a declaration of the of the "scope and effect" of the first amendment. .


It is not real and the cross on the helmet has nothing to do with congress or laws created thereafter, there was no breach of the first amendment, and this school is teaching children.

The first amendment was meant to protect the church from government not the other way around.

I agree! If it violates the constitution then it should be removed. Now, when somebody can point to the ammendment of the constitution that includes this prohibition we can settle this.

The absence of God in public schools is just part of the satanic agenda, yet they are setting up rooms for the LGBT to gather and just recently I heard on liberal rotten radio they are allowing the transgender or misguided youth to choose the washroom they feel most comfortable with, that's gonna go over well, NOT.

At my nephews public school I noticed on their outdoor sign they had a congratulatory message for the cross-country track and field team, only it had taken out the word CROSS and replaced it with X-Country it's a bloody shame. I do not have any children but if I did they would not be going to any Godless, sexually deviant loving public schools.

I lived near Shorewood HS. They can't tell the private school to change their logo, but they can change public kids from wearing it. Another Wisconsin school had a similar sport arrangement. They both had separate logos but one name. It should work out fine if Shorewood wants to oust the cross. Not too surprising for Wisconsin, most are Lutherans so they wouldn't like a Catholic Bishop hat at all for a logo. The helmets are so expensive, I hope they just opt for a sticker to go over it for the public HS kids.

The separation was NOT to remove/restrict symbols from society ; quite the contrary. It was for for the FREEDOM to or not to no matter what THE CHURCH or any religion would allow.

What the constitution says is Government cannot force religious intention on you and you can wordhip as you wish to.

We seen what happened in the middle ages when the Church and the government were holding hands and were indeed one. The bloody persecution of millions resulted in the name of/a G-D no less.

We still see the horrific things coming out of many countries were their governments do terrible things in the name of religion/their g-d(s).

State and church were separated in our constitution ON PURPOSE! They cannot mix without blood. Our founders knew this!

If we get to the heart of it, we who earn/make/work should fight those who don't. Period. A public school uniform is "government" and the rights that matter are the rights of individuals. What's on the uniform is government. What's on the individual is individual.

Individuals may promote religion. "Government" may not.

Countries with more atheists than believers are less violent than countries with more believers. And countries where the government establishes a religion--most violent of all.

You can teach Christian ethics without making public school kids wear a cross. I admire Christian pacifism and value for each individual soul--anthat thing about render to Caesar what is Caesars--and don't try to elbow into the secular state.
