This is the way a prophecy can be created:

An agenda, started from the future, can played out in what is perceived by us as present time.

The architect(s) commence the prophecy by letting an unsuspecting person have an extraordinary experience. This unsuspecting person is minding his own business and all of a sudden he gets a vision, or perhaps a visitor from 'Heaven'.

This visitor tells the disturbed person how the future will be. Then the stunned person rushes to somebody who can write it down. Afterward, let's say, it will be included in some holy scriptures. The Bible or whatnot.
