Are they a threat to the general public at large? But it is only a matter of time after they have benchmarked their system via: Pet Link and Walmart on the pallets. The human chattle is next.

Make no mistake about it. They already have the system de-bugged and ready to be implanted into humans. The intelligence agencies already have the databases ready to store the information. It's just a matter of time, and if that time takes too long, they will hurry it up with some disaster event meant to move people's minds that direction.

What's wrong with this? As a parent you know that your child is in class rather than at the mall or some arcade hall. And if anything happens (e.g. kidnapping) the police can trace your child in time. There are more pros than cons.

I always thought they would start by putting them in our drivers licenses then after a few years they'd tell us to get them imbedded to just make it easier, or for "our saftey." "Since you already carry it with you, just get it implanted! That way you don't have to carry it with you."

Yeah, because a kidnapper isn't going to even think about taking the ID with a tracking systen off from around their neck...

A few seconds in the microwave should cure that problem. If not, a small drill bit certainly would. The chips are active transmitters, so they will eat batteries. If the batteries can be changed, they can be removed. You know the school knows they are in trouble when they offer to kill the chip if the girl and her family will tell everyone how wrong they were, and how great the trackers are.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

The author of the book "spychips", said in a the book that they are many rfid chips/tags inside shoes these days. Their website is this: [link to www.spychips.com]

A Greek activist decided to look in to this claim, and found a rfid tag in the second shoe he searched, bought in a Greek shop. Probably inventory tracking by companies, but it's tracking nonetheless.
