I would not be at all surprised, especially with a minimal amount of campaigning from a few parents, that the number of kids pulled out of the school because of the RFID system, would FAR outnumber the amount they loose through truancy. But then of course, maybe truancy is not REALLY the issue (more likely this is because of funds from a corporate sponsor who got greased through the government system) Oh, and BTW, I think your middle finger avatar is done quite respectfully and with dignity. And if anything happens (e.g. kidnapping) the police can trace your child in time. There are more pros than cons. Right, and the kidnapper will not mind that the child is wearing the GPS chip, the thought of throwing away in the street the GPS chip around the child's neck will not come through his-her mind. Oh yeah, right, how about.. we just implant that chip under the skin of the child so this kidnapper that you speak, cannot get rid of the chip.. ![]() |

WTF is wrong in Texas? First Texas leads the way in forced immunizations, and doesn't get huge backlash until Rick Perry shows his face in the Presidential debates. Now they pick right back up with chipping kids. Are the conservatives fighting for our constitutional rights or just paying lip service to conservative ideology? |

Dear AC if you would raise your child to have any common sense and decency they wouldn't need to be monitored. Come on, peer pressure is more prevalent these days. Besides, we all skipped classes from time to time when we were in highschool. Even if someone would raise their kids with common sense and decency, would that mean that your kids are in a saver environment? No, not at all, because we would still have kidnappers, pedofiles, etc...out there. I remember in the 80s and 90s that there were milk boxes in USA with the faces of missing kids. I've no idea how many of them were retrieved, but i know one thing for sure: many more abducted kids would be found if they had some kind of RFID device on them! Nobody can deny this. Would trading your (children's) freedom for a sense of security make you or them happy and safe? xo |
