Enough time to kick the shit into the fan i.e WW3
My concern is that political schedules will pretty much be rendered useless by Dec3

Sorry, YOU FORGOT TO LOG IN and all you can say is sorry, you don't sound very sorry to me... It's easy for anyone to say sorry... BUT do you really mean it, do you really think you can avoid jail time for this offence by simply saying sorry.. well lets hope so for your sake.... just don't do it again and you might get away with it.

Something is definitely up though, not much doom on the field the last 3 days, but plenty of diplomacy doom it seems.

Re: Putin's visit to Turkey "postponed for an indefinite period"
The commenters on the Guardian website were talking about how it seemed that we were headed towards WW III...

They tend to be against US/UK foreign policy - so they don't trust major newspapers in either country (including the Guardian) but I've never seen them mention impending "World War" magnitude Doom...

Weren't Turkey & Russia at war for most of the 19th century?

The Crimean War - 1850s?
The Circassian removal was in the 1870s...
The Armenian genocide was early 20th century....
The Cossacks were "active" throughout the 19th century

Which reminds me of this...a very old letter that expresses the Russian/Turkish relationship - (There are no copyright issues w/ a letter written in the 1600s)

The Cossacks Letter to the Sultan -

Zaporozhian Cossacks to the Turkish Sultan!

Thou art a turkish imp, the damned devil's brother and friend, and a secretary to Lucifer himself. What the devil kind of knight art thou that cannot slay a hedgehog with your naked ass? The devil shits, and your army eats. Thou son of a bitch wilt not ever make subjects of Christian sons; we have no fear of your army, by land and by sea we will battle with thee, fuck thy mother.

Thou art the Babylonian scullion, Macedonian wheelwright, brewer of Jerusalem, goat-fucker of Alexandria, swineherd of Greater and Lesser Egypt, Armenian pig, Podolian villain, catamite of Tartary, hangman of Kamyanets, and fool of all the world and underworld, a fool before our God, a grandson of the Serpent, and the crick in our dick. Pig's snout, mare's arse, slaughterhouse cur, unchristened brow, screw thine own mother!

So the Zaporozhians declare, you lowlife. Thou wilt not even be herding Christian pigs. Now we shall conclude, for we don't know the date and don't have a calendar; the moon/month's in the sky, the year in the book, the day's the same over here as it is over there; for this kiss our ass!

Otaman Ivan Sirko, with the whole Zaporozhian Host.

Gotta Love the Cossacks

It was probably a Coptic eunuch - what else could the Sultan do to him? I'd think that once you've made someone a eunuch they really don't have that much else to lose...

There was a thread the other day from a Greek user that recited the prophesies of a Greek orthodox monk (leader) that said a war between Turkiya and Russia was what will be in the near future.

Reading this, I think the Monk could be right

This is the thread; interesting read;

LoL!

No, they have every right to realize that their ancient F4's no longer are a substantial asset in modern war fare, and that they better should consider buying more up-to-date hard ware from the US, radar systems from Europe, or drones from Israel.

Shooting down an old plane is a money-guided political issue, not a military issue.

Remember the Turks 'hacked' their F-16's IFF boxes to delete the restriction to engage Israeli air craft? They should not have done that, and the message is clear; you want to fight on your own? Fine, this is what you have.. useless target practice.
