Almost Half the Sun Covered By a Huge Black Spot! | |

If the sun is supposed to be a fireball, then does that mean it is being fed a constant source of oxygen? And if so, what made that oxygen? For it to flare like that, wouldn't that then mean that the sun is getting bursts of oxygen to burn off? Now then, if the sun is an electric sun like many people suggest, then wouldn't the bursts from the sun have a more electric look to it, like you see in those novelty electric balls? The bursts from the sun look more like how water would flow than fire or electricity? Maybe lava like flow? Could everyone be wrong about the sun. Fire would spark and flare outwards in many directions, not circular even flowing bursts! Same goes with electricity. These are very violent elements (fire and electricity) Could it be a combination of fire/electricity/lava/water/wind(oxygen) all rolled into one? Just thought I'd give you guys something else to think about! It is not a fire. The sun is a mass of incandescent gas. A gigantic nuclear furnace, where hydrogen is fused into helium at the temperature of millions of degrees. <iframe width="640" height="360" src=" [link to www.youtube.com] frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I would be forever grateful if someone would embed the above-link. In this time I have not seen a dark area this large. Maybe you can provide some older images showing and area this large??? I am not claiming any doom here, as the sun is reaching solar maximum it should be expected that situations like this will occur. Quoting: Billy_Sastard ABSOLUTELY!!! Shills - please leave the area! |

That's not a sunspot, it's showing a specific range of temperature and wavelength. Different wavelengths and temperatures are imaged in different colors. [link to sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov] Sorry to puncture the doom balloon on this one. Don't get me wrong, I think the sun is going to cause us some serious problems one of these days, but that image is NOT a giant sunspot. |

Rudysarsof User ID: 19990371 Australia 10/11/2012 08:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | also, when you view the sun it acts really strange even without all these dark spots on it. Quoting: ZEROeffect If you think in 4d we spiral through the galaxy trailing the sun with the rest of the planets. So the sun is roaring through space at unimaginable speeds. I know that when I throw a tennis ball of fire (Fun stuff) the fire trails the ball like this <O Now if we are following the sun through space and the sun is fire....then why does it not show this trail at all times? Is it just the vacuum of space keeping it all uniform and centered like this (O) And if that is true, then what is feeding this giant fireball this oxygen? Also, why does the sun behave in this way? Shouldn't a fireball act like a tennis ball on fire being thrown? That leads me to believe that the sun is not a fireball like they say! Now an Electric sun would act more like this! Then again, you would not see such a "flowing" of sunbursts like we are seeing in these pictures! Therefor the sun can not be purely electric in nature, can it? Even with the supposed massive gravity, and vacuum of space! Hmmmmm. Anyone? It is a lot easier to lie when you are the only one who knows the truth than it is to find the truth when all you know is lies. Remember people the revolution starts with you. Sorry my mistake. Revolution starts with R. Change begins with.....nope that begins with C Hold on I am sure I will get this. Progress begin....damn. Oh I got it Youthfulness begins with you, so do your part and be childish And remember you can not spell awesome without ME. |

What in the world does a magnetic field have to do with oxygen “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan |

EIT (Extreme ultraviolet Imaging Telescope) images the solar atmosphere at several wavelengths, and therefore, shows solar material at different temperatures. In the images taken at 304 Angstrom the bright material is at 60,000 to 80,000 degrees Kelvin. In those taken at 171 Angstrom, at 1 million degrees. 195 Angstrom images correspond to about 1.5 million Kelvin, 284 Angstrom to 2 million degrees.
