Re: Almost Half the Sun Covered By a Huge Black Spot!
suns are planet creators! This one is about to blow! I hope it makes a twin planet like ours and is dropped close to us!

Maybe dec 21, 2012 will be the day that Nibiru is born from our sun!

:)

Dude no offense... are you still in high school?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22241004

no he's in kindergarten and otherwise following the internet BS. the sun is NOT going to birth a planet, nor Nibiru. Nibiru is not here, and the sun is well past birthing planets. It is not going to blow.

I thought it was just a fluke when some brain dead ignoramus glipper popped off about the sun running out of oxygen to keep burning. Now we have another cretinous idiot posing the same unmitigated idiocy. We really do live in "Idiocracy" now.

YOU FUCKING MORONS, THE SUN IS NOT BURNING IT'S A ELF SUSTAINING THERMONUCLEAR REACTION. IT DOES NOT NEED OXYGEN TO "burn"

Fucking morons

Re: Almost Half the Sun Covered By a Huge Black Spot!
EIT (Extreme ultraviolet Imaging Telescope) images the solar atmosphere at several wavelengths, and therefore, shows solar material at different temperatures. In the images taken at 304 Angstrom the bright material is at 60,000 to 80,000 degrees Kelvin. In those taken at 171 Angstrom, at 1 million degrees. 195 Angstrom images correspond to about 1.5 million Kelvin, 284 Angstrom to 2 million degrees. The hotter the temperature, the higher you look in the solar atmosphere….:-) ...

LIKE :) ummm in english terms?

magnetic energy moving into space … sometimes toward us …:-)) ….at a temperature you can see ...

Re: Almost Half the Sun Covered By a Huge Black Spot!
The Sun is infact mostly Hydrogen, when a flare occurs bacteria on earth, in water, react instantly to the flare, not 6 mins later. meaning the energy involved is moving faster than light just like the energy involved when you seperate cells and they react to each other instantly even though they are seperated by 1000s of KM. many experiements to prove faster than light energy.
We are mostly hydrogen in the form of Water so is Earth, and comparing the size of the Sun to earth just imaagine what effect it has on us.. Thrunderbolts. c o m, the Universe is Electric and the Sun feeds on Electricity.
Also an infamous USA president employed his sharpest man to find out why the 1930s depression occured and he reported back after much research that the Sun effects the stock market, mans mood, mans spending habbits etc..all this info is out there and well documented if you want to raise your awarness, they teach you nothing in School.

Normal? I've never seen it look like that in the five years I've been coming here. Never.

Holy Moly. Hope that's just a weird camera malfunction or something.

WTF?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10783814

Oh stop it. That's the way it looks from that camera.

If you've never seen it look like that, you're not paying attention.

Fucking half-brain-dead drop-outs, jeeze!!!

My desktop image and screensaver are up to date images downloaded from the SOHO site every 30 minutes, I set this up about 6 to 8 months ago, and watch the sun closely. In this time I have not seen a dark area this large. Maybe you can provide some older images showing and area this large??? I am not claiming any doom here, as the sun is reaching solar maximum it should be expected that situations like this will occur.

it's the LAST solar maximum in fact

Re: Almost Half the Sun Covered By a Huge Black Spot!
BUMP!

Things that make me wonder.... If the sun is supposed to be a fireball, then does that mean it is being fed a constant source of oxygen? And if so, what made that oxygen? For it to flare like that, wouldn't that then mean that the sun is getting bursts of oxygen to burn off?

Now then, if the sun is an electric sun like many people suggest, then wouldn't the bursts from the sun have a more electric look to it, like you see in those novelty electric balls?

The bursts from the sun look more like how water would flow than fire or electricity? Maybe lava like flow? Could everyone be wrong about the sun. Fire would spark and flare outwards in many directions, not circular even flowing bursts! Same goes with electricity. These are very violent elements (fire and electricity) Could it be a combination of fire/electricity/lava/water/wind(oxygen) all rolled into one?

Just thought I'd give you guys something else to think about!

Its fake. You live in the matrix and you really have no clue what it really looks like actually. Other then a telescope and pictures.

Greetings:

The Sun/Star ... That Is Called "Sol" ... Is Not "Hot" ... As In ... A Big Ball Of Fire !! ... Incorrectly & WRONGLY Taught On Terra/Earth !!!

This Star Is Extremely Extremely COLD !! ... It Is A Mixture Of Plasma Gasses ... Of Which Generate What You Call "Radiation" ... Sending This Outward Into Space !!

The Very Heat & Light That You Experience ... On Terra/Earth ... Is NOT Caused Simply By ... The Sun/Star Called "Sol" ... Of It's Energies ... But The Effects Caused By The INTERACTION Between The Energies Given Off By This Star & The Energies Of Terra/Earth !!

This "Frictional Effect" ... Creates The Heat & Light You Experience !!

Cutting Off/Preventing This Interactive Process ... Would Cause Your Planet To Become Dark & Of The Cold Of Space ... Frozen Over ... Many Hundreds Of Degrees Below O !!

Likewise ... While The Sun/Star "Sol" Is An Extremely Extremely COLD Composition Of Plasma Gas ... The Radiations Given Off/Discharged ... Out Into Space ... Without Having Sufficient Deflection/Shielding ... Would Burn/Vaporize Yourself & Your Craft !!

Farewell For Now !!

Forget everything you were taught about the sun.

The sun is no different than our moon in the way that it is a reflector of energy. Our sun reflects photons and other forms of energy from the source.

You know it's bad when an alien has to tell people about the sun...

**Actually An Extraterrestrial ... That Is ... Not Of/From ... Terra/Earth ... Of The Energies That Animate This Body !!

**WE Regard The Term "Alien" ... As It Is Applied To US/WE ... As An Insult !! ... US/WE ... Would Apply This Term Correctly ... On Those There ... Of Your Planet ... That Disregards All Life & Lifeforms (Including The Living Planet) ... & Of Those That Are Disconnected With Life There ... & Life In Space !! ... To & Including Your Space Sisters & Brothers Of Other Worlds ... Other Places !!

**And Yes ... To Use 3rd Density Polaristic/Fractional Thinking ... It Is "Bad" When US/WE ... Need To Tell You ... Of Things That You Should (If You Were Aware & Knowing !!) ... Of Simple & Basic Things !! ... Of Your Own "Solar System" !!

Farewell For Now !!
