D.C. man orders TV from Amazon, gets assault rifle instead | |

The only people who are allowed by law to receive firearms via post/mail are licenced FFL dealers. If the seller did, indeed, send this weapon instead of a TV, the seller is in hot water up to his eyeballs right about now. It is not as simple as making a mail order and waiting for a weapon to show up on your doorstep. When ordering firearms from a catalog or over the web, you have to arrange with the seller and a local FFL to have the weapon shipped to the FFL. The FFL does a background check on the recipient and receives a fee from the recipient and delivers the weapon once the backgound check comes back clear. It is, to me, sad how fast people forget the FOUNDATIONS of our fine country! This country was built by an armed population capable of fending for themselves, and will be lost by couches full of potato-sheeple riding their 52" HD-LEDTV's into the orwellian sunset. :( :abomb::abomb::abomb: BRING ON THE DOOM!!! |

I'd like to go quietly in my sleep, like grandpa did. Not screaming in terror like the people in the back seat of the car he was driving. |
