The locals need to know where this "Health Expert" lives. If it is so safe, they should challenge him to relocate his family to one of the closest houses to the sinkhole. They should demand that he start living there immediately. I am sure it is easy to say "oh yeah, it's safe" when you are thousands of miles away and it does not effect you or your family personally.

Safer than salad oil? Aren't they having to drill vents to flare off the oil? I have NEVER been able to light salad oil on fire. If it was safe, then why do they need to vent it?
