1 cubic meter of commerical gas = roughly 39 megajoules of energy, look that shit up. If I was within 500 miles of that sinkhole I would get the fuck out of there.

500 miles will go up. 1000 sq miles will go down in the sea and the Whole East Coast will be effected in one way or another. My dad worked in this industry for years. He's retired now. He's been following this mess and has contacted a few FREINDS still working in the industry. There's nothing they can do about any of this. Not everybody around this thing really has all the information in one place. Even information is being scuttled by those who have it for those who need it. There are so many different entity's involved that nobody has a CLEAR picture. From what my dad says this is really bad. The whole area is under extreme pressure. More so than other area's and always has been historically. The whole area is unstable. Seimic activity is causing this but also being caused by this. There will be more seismic activity as the oil and gas and methane and anything else is pushed to the surface and into the voids because of all the pressure. Its just a matter of time until somthing really bad happens. Nobody knows. DAMAGE CONTROL TIME. THERE WILL BE PRECURSORS TO THE MAIN EVENT. Watch for more ground shifts as the sinkholes in the area grow larger. Seimic swarms and then run like hell. I'd be getting out right now. The government ain't practicing for nothing. Yuma is having a great big drill right now. My brither in law is there and they started at 6 pm last night. A whole Army Battalion is there. Helicoptors and jets and drones and hummies and everything everywhere. He said he didn't sleep a wink last night. Thats only 300km from this thing give or take. They would respond from bases in these area's. They would be the only one's that could.

Glad you brought this up again. It is very important IMO. Also, I discovered that Utah is a drilling/mining hot spot right now...wonder if it's tied into the land the feds gave the Chinese by Salt Lake City???

Found this article lasted night that was posted October 11, 2012. (less than 50% rule observed)

"Inside the world's largest open-pit copper mine, dump trucks as big as two-story houses work around the clock to haul hundreds of tons of rock and minerals 2,790 feet (850 meters) to the surface of this elliptical, seemingly endless, man-made hole.

All over the world, the race for resources is forcing countries to spend more and drill deeper than they ever have before. Energy companies in the United States are using hydraulic fracturing to tap huge gas and oil reserves from Pennsylvania to Alaska. Argentina is preparing to explode rock to get unconventional oil and gas in Patagonia. Brazil has pioneered deep-water drilling techniques in the Atlantic.

These long-term, multibillion-dollar projects are creating technological feats and opportunities for new industries unseen since the U.S. space race...Perforating the rock with a machine that looks like a giant yellow praying mantis, engineers lay explosives that blast through the cavernous walls for ventilation shafts." This is why I believe what's happening in LA is about much more than oil/gas as I posted in another thread.

Also, could this be what the people on the East Coast have been hearing and feeling all the way up to Maine? hmm
