Constellation Orion suddenly got BIG.
Has anyone else noticed the Orion constellation looking so big?

I realise that the stars that make up Orion are all various distances 600-800 light yr but would they still hold their shape give or take 200 light years?

They would certainly appear to spread out and appear brighter.

I also realise the moon illusion can make our satellite appear big and bright, the constellations would be affected the same way, but a few nights ago Orion spanned a third of the sky. I was freaked to say the least.

Is our solar system on the move? (I realise it is always 4.7 billion miles around the galactic core per year etc)

Could this be our Mayan New Year and explain the homage paid by the Great Pyramids?

My question is, are we, our solar system, accelerating to the peak of a slingshot around our nearby "lost twin" Sirius?

It was so you could get a closer look at his head.

The orbits of our planets are not perfect circles. Why shouldn't our solar system have a wonky elliptical orbit?

The Orion Myths speak of a hunter, traveller and fire archer.

Are we being stalked by a closing constellation while our sun is dragged through the fluff and becoming a fire breathing monster?

I absolutely have no answer to this, but, now I have to change the reply I was going to write, because, as I started typing

1. some glitch made my sentence disappear

2. as i began again, and was typing the word 'absolutely' a guy on the tv said the very same word.

Soooooo, this is either a strange coincidence, or...

....the Universe is saying you might be on to something.

Me? I have no clue, but, I like your question.

Very good observation. The answer is likely more personal for you then not. This is a good sign though, imho.

Whenever I walk outside and look at Orion once it is visible, Like now, betelgeuse dances around for me in the sky. The star wiggles in the sky, it even slipped behind a tree earlier tonight. It also likes to make the infinity symbol. Im watching it now :-)

yes...I saw the "infinity symbol" also--and I asked
several of my friends if they saw this absolutely
beautiful sight...They all agreed that they saw it,
too. There is an INTER-ACTIVE component to the
Orion Constellation/Orion Nebula that is being
carefully researched by a computer analyst by the
name of Danny Wilten. This is going to sound
very strange....but the Orion Nebula is AWARE
of us. There are images within the NASA Hubble
Space Telescope photots which Wilten is bringing
forward that are just too remarkably similar to
captured scenes in many Great Artist paintings
to be a coincidence!
The GLP threads that are covering The Orion
Constellation/Orion Nebula are:
"Wow! 'Celestial' Nile Discovered. This will blow
your mind!" and
"Leonardo Davinci THE LAST SUPPER CODE - Cracked!"
(both threads began in July 2012 by Abhie--GLP
member)
I would give you the link, but I don't wish to
take away from your thread, here--if you are
interested, just do an "Advanced Search" on the
first Forum page (July to present) for "Abhie"
and you'll find it at the bottom of the list.
I am going to go to the Seventh Day Adventist
Church on Saturday for the first time to
investigate IN PERSON what the founder of the
SDA Church claims to have seen in a "vision"
about the Orion Nebula way back in 1863! They
have apparently, built their whole church around
Ellen G. White and this vision. (NO...I am not
affiliated with ANY church....so this is not an
advertisement! lol!) I'll see what they say.
Can't hurt, right?
Hope that you figure this out--because if the
ORION CONSTELLATION IS CHANGING--IT IS VERY
SIGNIFICANT!
cHEERS!

Why do you think all those wars are going on in the areas surrounding the Nile?

Everyone wants to be front row in that area so.

Just wait, you'll see.

OP is making a very profound observation, which is likely most important for himself (and a few others), yet most will not notice it as bigger or such. Do you understand what I mean?

I noticed a very bright star in the evening the last few days, I think that must be the star betelgeuse. It seems to move. When I watched it this week, the star was behind the roof of other houses and within a few minutes the star was visible above the roof (didn't have to stand on my toes to see the star). It felt like the star is 'watching' us damned

I think I've noticed that too..like the right side is at least like 2 to 3 inches bigger than when I was age 9 or 10..but then again my memory isn't my best attribute.

Check out the Project Camelot interview with Emily Windsor-Cragg, she speaks about the Orion constellation getting closer to earth. I googled to see, if anyone else was mentioning this, and found your thread.
