Wow, this should really appeal to the .00002% of Americans who still care about Ron Paul.

America has moved on. I suggest that GLP do the same.

Sure, anything Ronnie can do to help re-elect Obama.
 Quoting: Invisible Man

Yes, that's what it amount to in the end.

And I saw Rand interviewed on TV today and he certainly does support Romney.
 Quoting: Bluebird

No what it amounts to is that Romney is a horrible candidate.

I thought the GOP was about taking responsibility. WELL DO IT!

You chose a suck ass candidate and when he loses you will blame anyone but the GOP for picking a loser.

amen ron paul.

Then you support Obama again?

Ron has a following who looks to him for direction and he is directing them not to vote against Obama by choosing Romney.

Ron is a clever shill. Always has been e.g. politician.

This is what I've been saying all alone. But then if you say that on GLP, you'll be called a "sheep"

Re: Ron Paul on CNBC Bluntly Refuses to Back Romney
I will always say Ron Paul moving to the republican party was a mistake.

He could have made a true third party in this debacle.

He is the first candidate I ever sent money to for his campaign.

I can't vote for him at this point. We have to get Obama out. Romney may not be Ron Paul, but he's not Obama.
 Quoting: FatalW1shes

Actually I personally believe that you won't be able to tell the difference in actions between them if Romney is elected. Look closely at Romney's record in Massachusetts. That state isn't fairing very well right now.

I can understand people wanting to put ANYBODY in over Obama, but be careful - that's how we get screwed twice. I truly hope I'm wrong, but it seems to me no matter which one we elect - we are still going to be heading down a very dark path.

Dumbest argument ever!!! Did you even listen to what Dr. Paul said? He said that BOTH Romney and Obummer are bought and paid for by the globalist bankers.

He emphatically stated a need for a true 3rd party.

BOTH ROMNEY AND OBUMMER SUCK!!!!

I think Ron Paul is probably voting for Gary Johnson, Libertarian, now.

As he said, he was trying to establish the Republcans as a second party with a different platform than the Democrats.

Having failed that, Libertarian is the only alternative to Obama's failed policies. Romney is just a white Obama.

That's the ultimate plan and we're stuck with it. Why use blackwater once we get there? We already have a multinational army that will do anything on a second's notice IE NATO.

We're fucked. And I love hearing these neocons try to cover for Romney, as if he's a vastly different personality than Obama.

romney won't "kill" soc sec. It's the third rail of sheeple politics. bush talked about privatizing and got his head handed to him.

Something has to be done. Soc sec can't continue in it's present form.

"With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things." William Wordsworth

And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.

John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address

Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests:

"Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world."

Re: Ron Paul on CNBC Bluntly Refuses to Back Romney
If only all republicans voted libertarian then you'd be assured that Obama would be defeated. By voting Romney you're taking a big risk, because he is not assured to win because of those libertarians who would never vote for him and even if he won you're not assured he won't continue being an elite lackey, helping to create false flags for more war and still compromising with issues like the FED; immigration, the welfare state etc.
"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.

Voting for the lesser of 2 evils is still voting for evil. I will not vote for evil anymore and I will be able to be proud of my vote.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22374494

Idealism does not have a chance to win this election and looking at candidates as 'evil' is just an excuse for not facing reality

So you just vote you conscious and feel good about yourself for doing it. See how far that gets you in real terms or just listen to me and I will tell you right now -- You will be four years down the road, further in a hole and more frustrated with life than you are today.

The problem with this is that four years from now -- when you finally pull your head out or your ass and face reality -- it may very well be too late to do anything about it.

Don't be an idiot!!! I'm not giving either of them my vote - if I can write in Ron paul and pull the vote from either of them... yahooo! But really??? as if my vote counts anyway? It's the electoral college numbers that decide the vote not our personal votes.

HEY - I'm going to vote.. just not for obamamouse or Romneyhead! Both of them are laughingstocks and show ponies! And guess what? I'll have just as much right to complain about their lousy job since I will be voting for the one man who could really do a good job in the "House".

Just my opinion which is worth just as much as a bunch of you lamebrains on here! smile

Haha. America got a sight over the hill through Dr Ron Paul that would have led them to prosperity and freedom, but they were too stupid to understand, so they turned back into the desert for another 40 years, or more, of poverty and tyranny. Stupid fucking Americans.

I see from the responses that the Ron Paul supporters are unwavering in their conviction for voting their conscious.

If Romney loses to Obama because Paul supporters vote for Johnson in the swing states, good, because then you neocons will have learned that peace-loving people cannot be bullied as easily as you war-mongering fear-filled neocon cowards.

And when the US ship starts sinking, we will see the neocon rats jumping off the ship while the brave peace-lovers will hold fast and do there best to save the ship, even if it means going down with it.
