The idea is that computer programs have limiting factors, as opposed to real life which would not be so constrained. At one point I looked into what I think was probably eternity. It was like looking into space, but no stars and planets. It wasn't black like space, but a misty blue/grey with a few faint and very distant shapes, like arcs...thin lines and there was a distant huge sphere. In this space I saw some shapes, like a cross between bubbles and t.v. screens. One flashed, like a strobe light. My thought was that these shapes were my incarnated lives and the one that flashed was this life, and I knew I had to return to it. I said "oh, no". I didn't want to come back here. No one said I had to come back...the knowledge came from within me. In fact, I saw no one, heard no one. The whole experience lasted maybe 10 seconds, but it was a very vivid experience and I sensed a state of being that was more intense than I've ever experienced in this life. It is still far too simplistic of an analogy though. Increasing exponential complexity must be taken in to consideration as concepts are scaled from the micro viewpoint(a computer simulation), to the macro viewpoint(the cosmic).
