Quoting: PravdaDemocrat He moved both Florida, and Colorado, to the "Leans Romney" column today. There was a poll today on Politico which had Obama only leading by 4 points in MAINE, and Romney leading by 4 points in the one congressional district that could give him one electoral vote from Maine. Light blue states are going purple, and the VP debate tonight won’t change the momentum that Romney-Ryan have right now. You can be sure if Romney is up in FL, he’s ahead in OH,too! NORTH CAROLINA WILL TELL THE TALE ON ELECTION NIGHT Obama won the state in 2008. Polls close at 7:30PM. If Romney is up by 5 or more in NC, and it's called quickly, it will mean a NATIONAL LANDSLIDE is in progress. Where did you see that? Here is the link that you "forgot" to include, showing both Florida and Colorado as toss up states: [link to www.oddschecker.com] Silver's blog today says that "Romney's momentum has stopped", and he predicts an electoral college victory for Obama with 295 votes to Romney's 242. His odds for winning are 74% Obama and 26% Romney, and that gap is widening, just like on Intrade. [link to fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com] By way of background, Silver started running a politics blog and successfully predicted 49 of 50 states' electoral votes that election (he missed Indiana) as well as all 35 Senate elections. |
