Re: Bar of soap in bed for leg cramps?
The best and scientific natural cure for leg cramps is a 20 minute hot soak in Epsom Salts. It is cheap and a real scientific cure allowing magnesium to soak into the muscles from the largest organ in the human body, the skin. Magnesium deficiencies need correcting in order to maintain potassium serum levels and is essential for enzyme reactions that essentially feed the muscle cells.

Even the day prior to a strenous day you will notice the benefit and the lighter feel in your steps if you prefeed your muscles with this incredible natural resource.

For centuries the wealthy of Europe travelled to Epsom England to enjoy the relief by the natural occuring hot baths of salts. Today we can buy it for pennies at our local pharmacy and get the same relief that they once could only have once in a great while at huge expense.

I am a huge fan.

Yes... magnesium oil works for me. A charlie horse in the middle of the night is gruesome! I put magnesium oil on my legs and or feet before bed. No worries!

Magnesium relaxes the muscles while calcium contracts them.

I get my magnesium oil here.

I use this brand, although there are cheaper options too-

What I found helped the most with my "restless legs
syndrome", and yeah, I did try the soap. It kept falling
out of bed, was Magnesium Malate.

I love this stuff and most of us are magnesium deficient.
I read a book on Magnesium deficiency and realized I was
one of those deficient. I take two at night and sleep like
a baby.

You can use coupon code BES696 to save $10 on your first iHerb order of $40 or more. Plus, orders less than $40 will receive $5 off! Purchases of $20 or more get shipping for free, in the states.

Also, I used to soak in epsom salts, which does provide
some magnesium, but it was not enough. If you have restless leg syndrome, just do yourself a favor and supplement from "inside". The magnesium oil is also nice but not as good as the oral supplementation.

best wishes hf

It has to do with magnesium in the soap being released into the air under the covers.

Re: Bar of soap in bed for leg cramps?
Just heard about this today. Was told it actually works for leg cramps.
Felt it was worth posting on here to share, for those who suffer from nighttime leg/feet cramps and didin't know about this.
