Norwegian Nobel Committee awards 2012 Nobel Peace Prize to the European Union

They might just as well give next years prize to producers of nuclear weapons, as the threat of mutual assured destruction has kept the peace among superpowers since WWII.

I may be on stage soon but I am not the one who decides on that. The people who started the EU thought it was a choice between cooperation and war. The model of cooperation of the EU has been successful, but its limits are also clearly visible.

I can understand the sarcasm, and I know it was a project of the elite envisioned at Bilderberg, and surely big corporations have profited from that, but there is not doubt that the European Union is a success in many respects.

Most people can only think in terms of good/bad or success/failure. You can decide to stop using wheels after your tires went flat, reinvent the wheel later and think you are smart.

Hope this doesn't mean the EU is on the way to collapse.

THey gave this same prize to BO and that didn't work out so well for the USA.
