Obviously, you've never been in her situation. You couldn't possibly relate to her situation. What you may have experienced might have been bad. We all have had bad experiences. But, teen suicide is not uncommon and it is not uncommon for similar experiences as hers. Bullying.

Times have changed. When I was younger, violence was an option. When someone attacked you, you stood up to them. And you square it away, until it's squared away. And when someone like the guy who perpetrated this whole, posting a picture of her got caught, the only thing that would have saved his ass, would be the fact that he was isolated from the general population; both, in and out of a jail.

The internet is not for children ban your kids from the web now.

I think it was the guy with the girlfriend that did it. It was obviously someone from her school. I may beseech the powers of Anonymous to track the mangina down that did it.

No one is a pathetic helpless fool. NO ONE. It's that fucking attitude that has the world upside down.
You don't need a pill to feel better, you don't need someone else to feel good, you don't need to do that to get appreciated, you don't need tv/computer/games to have fun, it's all in the eye of the beholder. People think they can buy all that stuff, when they should really look for it inside in the first place.

And if you'd like to know (not that it supports my comment), yeah I spent most of my early years absolutely alone (until I was about 18). I had nowhere to go, no one to spend time with, no one. Anywhere I went, people would just avoid me like the plague. Of course I never had a girlfriend. Anyone in that situation should know that is the perfect time to truly know yourself =) you have no distractions. You'll find someone awesome that people actually can appreciate instead of 'having' to appreciate.

And also, people think that laws solve things. Laws solve nothing.
It's like when they say that guns kill... no! It's people who kill, fix people, not the law.

although sometimes kids will be kids I cant see how parents cant catch on if their daughter is this severely depressed

the story is so sad. The parents needed to involve police. Posting nude pic of 15yr old is classed as pedophile material. Plenty could have been done to put the guy posting this stuff in juvi prison. Personally if it were my kid getting this abuse, a private investigator would identify the kids involved 100%. They would then get their balls shot off in a horrendous random street crime that would never get solved. Problem solved and no future generation to F%^K things up for other families.

I agree. At what point during this series of events would a normal, rational parent step in and put a stop to this? That didn't happen, and they let their little girl die.

No matter how great you write an anecdotal, does not change the fact that this was a young lady, looking at a future that seemed NOT to be getting any brighter. I agree with some of your points, but not your callous indifference, nor your "life's a bitch" anecdotes. You're not going to convince me that you can somehow know what she was dealing with EVERY...MINUTE...OF...HER...DAY. Nor that assuming that everything will get better "if I just hang in there". Not everyone is wired that way.

It is fortunate that you weathered those challenges. And I have my own successes with similar life circumstances. But, I'm a guy/man. We're wired differently. We are held to different standards.

I hope you get my overall intent. This is not a time to send a message to all 13 year old girls that they need to get in touch with their inner Clint Eastwood, and toughen up.

heres a few of the major problems causing this.

1. text based communication/ (cell phones and online chat).
Because it is not natural and fucks with young peoples minds as they do not get visual clues and all the psychological communication that comes with talking to people in the real world.

2. Facebook. another poor excuse for real socialization with real friends and family in the flesh. So it will cause more mental and psychological confusion.

And the reason why she was bullied so much, ironically, because other females saw her as a threat because she was beautiful. And they attacked her so viciously mainly on the internet because once again you can say and do things you would never do in person, because of anonymity and the whole psychology of internet commenting/chatting.

I dont understand what is going on, evetything seems to have changed in such a short time,when i was 15 it was great..we were all good friends , we were nice and kind to eachother, we had healthy clean fun..and that is a short time ago..what has happened?
