I like dems accusing republicans about not caring for the common man, like when Bush charged to the bank of China a PRESCRIPTION DRUG PLAN addition to MEDICARE. Talk about having both sides of an issue.... So, giving a subsidy to the pharmeceutical industry is "caring about seniors"? But look at the history. Stop with the talking points. It's so obvious and it demeans you. I have not heard one other person making this exact point. If you can prove it to be a republican 'talking point, you are free to prove it. From you perspective no republican can do 1 thing right. You make a benefit into seniors a a subsidy to the pharmeceutical industry. Yes, Bill clinton did remedy SOME of the damage of FDR and LBJ, but Obama is trying to undo welfare reform, and he is doing that and many other items on his agenda through fiat dictat, bypassing congress. | Real list User ID: 1234613 United States10/12/2012 03:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I did go to Mother Jones and heard enough of the 'gaff' to know that Romney was talking to supporters and the topic was campaign strategy. His point was there is a segment of the American society that is dependant on government handouts (I agree that the 47% figure was a mistake). He basically said he had no way to compete and would not try to compete with dems to get these people to vote for him. He conceded 47% of the vote to dems because dems have bought and paid for their votes (with your tax money btw), and that his focus in his campaign was to target the 5%-7% of uncommitted voters who might agree with the conservitive approach of self-reliance, stronger defense and loew tax for EVERYONE over time and a stronger economy. I think OP is unreasonable and is spewing dem talking point vomit. |

You can't cheat an honest man who is not looking for some sort of unfair advantage for himself. The very things you list about Obama and Dems are why this country is in the disasterous financial circumstances that it is. Dems just cannot grasp the concept of people not wanting anything from the government but to be left alone and hands off their own money. Also can't grasp the concept of people voting for the greater good rather than what free stuff they can get from the government.
