Anonymous Coward User ID: 12779781 United States 10/12/2012 01:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | we each have more control over our personal time than most realize it's a matter of learning how to tap into that part of yourself... you can speed it up, make it seem to stand still, etc. adrenaline is key to this humans do amazing things- seemingly on autopilot- when adrenaline surges mastering that would make us all superhumans think about it :) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 12779781 United States 10/12/2012 01:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Time on the clock slowing down. Yeah the response of the poster that we can control it makes sense with my situation. Thanks for giving me something to chew on. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25112267 want more to chew on? again, key is adrenaline that is also how tptb control people's emotions emotional manipulation via their propaganda and agendas creating adrenaline surges after 9/11, how much adrenaline was surging? we are pretty ignorant on how this works but they are not given they have hidden so much from us including information on our histories, abilities, true natures now, think about television did you know every time a scene rapidly changes (from movies to children's cartoons) that your body has an adrenaline rush? it goes into fight v flight mode now look at all the programming (figuratively and, apparently, LITERALLY) wise words (the kybalion): if you are not your own master then someone else is :) |

I got really good and unexpected news that has the potential of changing my circumstances for the better. Maybe i am slowing down time to avoid making a major decision. Naww, better yet i could just be savoring it. Wow tho time manipulation is a fantastic power thanks for helping me spark that match! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 455519 I wonder if time/dimensions/energies are moving so fast now that we could be having a sense of things slowing down and/or occasionally standing still??? wierd, nice analyogy |

Esoteric Morgan ...in awe of many things User ID: 3539589 United States 10/12/2012 05:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not really but the other day on the treadmill I could have swore that my music was playing at a reeeeaaaallly slllooooooowww pace. Quoting: BOWMAN ------ This is interesting, because I also experienced some few seconds when I actually had to stop to think about what I was feeling/expericencing. Now I wish that I had written it down. I was also listening to music, and my perception was that it was suddenly distorted. Of course, my immediate thought was that it was ME, except, I have been very healthy. I thought of 'waves' as if they were 'extending' and I was hearing it out of time. I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED? Esoteric Morgan ...in awe of many things User ID: 3539589 United States 10/12/2012 05:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was listening to a song we had recorded and performed some years ago. Having not heard it for awhile, I was surprised to hear that its timing was slower than I remember...after all, it was pretty much a frenetic punk song that had one particular line that I always had to squeeze into 8 bars. This is a very interesting point you've brought up, Bowman. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

Other ones would play as I would normally hear them. ------ |

This is a very interesting point you've brought up, Bowman. And it happened again a few days later. It was only certain songs though that seemed to be distorted. Other ones would play as I would normally hear them. ------ This is making me wonder if only CERTAIN wavelengths are being affected, not being cancelled out, just distorted. Could it be that the distorted songs contained some particular note(s) that the others did not (assuming that the interference remained constant for the entire time you were listening to songs) or, the interference itself came in waves, which affected them at random times until the effect diminished? Yet, it could also be the lengthening of many notes, which, in essence, would drag through the song, the brain reacts to the anomoly, causing a sense of time dragging along with it. Now I wish I knew enough to figure this out to the next level! None of this seems to explain my feeling that the tempo of a song had slowed down during the 3:45 minutes it took to hear a 3:45 minute song. ------------------- MUST HAVE BEEN A TIME WARP! A glitch that bent something that we were able to perceive. Question is: WHAT? This is as close as I can come to any possible explanation: Time dilation & Relative velocity time dilation [link to en.wikipedia.org] Frame Dragging [link to en.wikipedia.org] Linear Momentum [link to en.wikipedia.org] Special relativity [link to en.wikipedia.org] ======================= my brain needs a rest now. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

All very interesting to consider. For the record my momentum was at about 6 mph sustained over the course of 20 minutes. When I'm running my awareness tends to focus on the future (as in, 'can't wait to finish' ). I suspected that it was my consciousness not only being focused on the future, but also that there wasn't much to clearly focus on or pay attention to other than the song I was listening to. One song that seemed to drag was actually a faster tempo while another one was a slower tempo. ------ |
