No. It's this.

"Women have unrealistic expectations because they watch to many chick flics and expect "Mr. Big" to show up in a limo for them at age 40 after two decades of slutting around in clubs."
 Quoting: Justalittlebad

The media. The media is to blame. Due to lack of good parenting, the media becomes the parent for both sexes. The media tells women that they should be materialistic, slutty, confused and to make decisions based on emotions. The media tells the men, that we should be non-effectionate, players, rich and submissive. Men aren't MEANT to be submissive, men are meant to be LEADERS. Leaders of their family more specifically. However, the media portrays that all men are dumb and that women are superior. Being that the family is broken, most people fall for these deceptions. For instance, think about all the damage, that Jersey Shore, Katy Perry and Lady GaGa has done to women.

Yes, the propaganda is the media's fault. However, the parents have a responsibility to teach their children better.

My kids watch TV, but they are aware that everything on their is bs, even the news. They understand.

Also realize that peer pressure plays a big part too. There's a saying "Satan loves the kids". The earlier you get them away from junk viewing, the better, because even though you tell them that it's false, it doesn't mean that they won't make it their reality like the rest. Remember that kids care too much and many don't learn that they shouldn't care too much, until they're old.lol But yes, at the end of the day, it's the parents. Most parents aren't even planned parents and that's the worst.

My first child wasn't planned, but she is the best thing that ever happened to me. I decided to have a second child because no child should be an only child, it is lonely especially once the parents are gone. She was the greatest gift ever as well. Wonderful bounty of blessings.
