" If you really want to prove your independence, when you divorce the man and take his children after lying about him being abusive in court, at least PROVE your independence by refusing ALL monetary support ordered by the court. Until you are willing to do that, you ALWAYS needed the man, though so many women choose to be parasites, rather than trutfully indepenent."  As a real independent woman, i TOTALLY agree with this ! I make my own fucking money!!! I second that!
