Re: Vitamin D3 discussion
I had my blood tested for D3 a few years ago and I was deficient. I have been taking 5,000 a day since and it has really helped my immune system. Plus I no longer get sun burn during the summer. Instead I get a nice bronze tan.

But what I like most about D3 is that during the fall and winter I up the quantity to 7,500 a day and now I no longer get the "blues" during this time of year. Before I would always get moody and depressed towards the middle of September.

My depression stopped with vitamin d3 5000 units daily. If I stop it for 2-3 weeks than I start developing depressive thoughts.
My asthma and allergies have improved. No longer need to use my nebulizer and rarely my personal inhaler.

Re: Vitamin D3 discussion
I read a few posts here regarding D3. What are the benefits and how many IU should I take?
 Quoting: ***ClappaGuy***

Good for joints, muscles, brain, digestion, and fluoride detox. Canadian Health board (like our FDA) recommends 2000 IU per day. But they're farther north tso if you live in a sunny area 1000 per day is good.

Re: Vitamin D3 discussion
Take gel caps or liquid not pills or powder. Much more effective. 5000 iU / day for me.

gel caps and liquid is no where near as absorbed as these products right here.

the ONLY way in can get better absorbtion is with an IV....

90% absorbed in 22 to 30 seconds right into the blood stream COMPLETELY by-passing the gastro tract.

The web site looks suspicious to me -- they don't even tell you how long the vials last or how many applications they contain.
 Quoting: Super Bowl Dave

first of all they are listed in the PDR for their high absorbtion rate and they are pure, organic and there are NO binders or fillers and wax like you have in pills and capsules.

my dad died three years ago from cancer and when he was sick his B levels were low at 200 and he sprayed four of them and five days later they took his blood and his levels were at 920.

it is all about absorbtion and with pills you are lucky to get 10% absorbed and then your body will get rid of the rest and that is why your urine is green, yellow or gold, that is the excess nutrients leaving your body cause it can only absorb so much so fast.

one tube is a thirty day supply with two sprays four times a day because your body flushes several times a day.

i use nine diferent products and they make me feel amazing because they feed your body properly.

believe me my friend, Mayor Pharm is a highly reputable company.

Vitamin B12 and folate are not difficult to raise with pills. You don't need a mist spray unless you have a known abnormality like gastric bypass that will prevent you from absorbing pills.

Re: Vitamin D3 discussion
Just yesterday I started coming down with a scratchy throat and headache. I took 3 extra 1000mg Vitamin C pills last night before bed with a glass of orange juice (yeah, I know, Vitamin C overkill.). I take 5000IU of Vitamin D3 everyday even though my weight would probably require more. What should I do to get rid of whatever it is I have? I'm not sure if it's the onset of a cold or flu or what. Thanks!
