Hang in there. I quit 18 years ago. I was a heavy duty chain smoker 2 plus packs a day. The last two years I smoked I hated it, it was purely addiction at that point.
Don't worry about the cravings, get into exercise and give it time.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25441973 Whoa....2 PaCKS A DAY? what was your pack of choice? I now smoke american spirits and it seems that the cravings are not half as bad as normal brands... Quoting: Hawk-02 Hawk, I went from my Marlboro light 100s to Pal mall two weeks before I quit, I think it helped a lot because they did not satisfy me like the Marlboro did. Might try them, they are cheaper too. I loved my Marlboro's, like one right now but won't. Quoting: Desert Fox I quit for a year once, and I bought these nasty ass non tobacco smokes.. my boss thought i was smoking weed outside... but those things did the trick for the first week or so... The hardest part is the first week. Yes there is always the craving... I should not have surrounded myslef around a bar crowd.. Damn it! Not one, if you quit, you can never have one again. :/
