Good to see you, DF. Sorry about your mother-in-law. I wish her a full recovery and peace to your wife. Thankfully both have you there to love and support them. Four months smoke-free for you, Fox. You rolled-away the stone and now you'll be the rock for your family. Showing-up in a big way. All best.

Smoked for years and years and it was having bad effects on my breathing so trying to quit. Took Chantix for nine days, then said to hell with meds, and going it alone. Haven,t had a Marlboro for over two weeks, how -ever I do get the urge several times a day, but the urge is getting farther apart and easier to get past. Wish me luck. Maybe this can become, "SMOKERS ANONYMOUS" thread. Update, after almost three months I am still smoke free. Yes I still have the occasional urge but it goes away quickly. Proud so many have reported quitting in the many pages of this thread. Please check the following link, it is a great asset to quitting. DF [link to media.wix.com]

Hello All -

Danger 33. Big number. Continued congratulations.

NZ - Day four and marching forward. I know that empty feeling. As you know, it lessens and then passes. Good for you. The lie told me a cigarette would fill that emptiness. Utter bullshit and it's clear you flicked away the lie. It's a real priviledge to watch you stepping away from the toxic sticks with such assurance and resolve. Thanks for letting us partake in it. We're all pulling for you and each hour the smoke is brought to its right size and you return to the free, solid, individual you are. All best and congratulations on day 4.

Des, Hope all is well with your mil and wife. Best to you all.

Peace, Brother CHL.

Grumps must have been swept-up in a mass ban like before and I hope we see her soon (unless she's on a covert mission operating as the international woman of mystery and intrigue we know her to be).

Best to you, OneLove as you continue into your second month.

Eyes on sustained liberation for the non-smokers. Viva La Revolution!

Funny you should mention that I'm 'on a covert mission operating as the international woman of mystery and intrigue' because of course that's EXACTLY what I was doing. Not. Perhaps in my mind though...

Ban away. It's okay. I still live smoke-free another day.

Yay! Everybody! Yay!!!!!!

Yay! Yay Everybody!!!! Yay!!!!!!

Oh, i'm old and tired tonight and am wandering off to bed with a waterbottle and a good book...

25 days no marijuana for me : )

smoked everyday for about 5 years

went through serious withdrawal (insomnia, loss of appetite, depression, nausea, 2 week long migrane)

feel AMAZING now!

Been a full month I believe starting tomorrow ( no weed ) although i know its probably a lot easier than cigs its still pretty damn hard.

Also forgot to mention that Ive been doing an hour (15 miles or so) on a stationary bicycle 5-6 times a week and at least 30 mins of stretching later on at nite, like an adapted yoga.

I was always in shape tho, 5,10 - 155 cut.

Smoking was my downfall. I switched to vaporizer about a year ago and it helped bring back some lung function and health but OMG nothing feels more amazing than not craving weed after work and every 10 minutes and I feel healthier and healthier every day.

Going to try to quit completely. Im 26 now, time to grow up and take charge of my life again!!!

Stay strong all!! Its worth it!!!

I am so weak when it comes to the weed, it is more than second nature for me and that my friend, is the very problem.... I have cut back considerably from where I was when I quit cigarettes but truthfully it's still more than I'd like.

My biggest trigger is obviously......boredom.

Keep on your quit and good luck!

Great to see you. You were missed. And that you sound wonderful and happy is a bonus and warms the heart.

So nice to have you back, pal.
