you can't get around anxiety. the only cure for anxiety is to go thru it.
in other words, recognize it for what it is, go with it, feel it, let it pass
do that over and over until anxiety dissipates on its own
until then, it will keep nagging and returning and hounding
the only way out is thru
Quoting: Salt this is truth! exercise and hydration helps ALOT! Quoting: Dr. Charles Norris yes! the mind is strange when dealing with thoughts. when one has an anxious thought, it is impossible to try and not think the thought. when one tries to not think something specific or non-specific, the mind will blare that particular thought on loudspeaker. for example, "do not think of pink elephants swinging from jungle vines in a pink tutu" immediately the mind creates a visual the idea is to take the anxious thoughts/feelings and use your inner man to observe them objectively. everyone has the inner man. this is the part of us that is always in check. when our emotions or thoughts are doing one thing, the inner man is the voice that keeps us in check. when the anxiety emerges, the inner man needs to observe it as if it is standing in the same room (which it is) and watching it from a close proximity. we don't push anxiety away or try to force it to stop. we simply observe it, silently, and be careful to not apply any attachment to it. it is tricking the mind. well, scratch that. it is utilizing the mind properly while it tries to trick the inner man. make sense?
