It's all in how you carry yourself, the words you use, and, how you treat people.

If your only goal is "getting women," you're, ahem, screwed, before you even begin. Pun intended.

Women want a nice guy. First impressions are important. We can certainly take the time to get to know you, but, we're much less inclined to even speak to you, if the vibe you're giving off is someone on the prowl, to 'get laid.'

If you spot a nice gal, making eye contact from a distance with the faintest of smiles, to show her you might be interested.

If you're sitting at the bar quietly WITHOUT CHATTING UP other women, this will give her the chance to come to the bar to "get her next drink" somewhat close to you.

If she looks over to you while waiting, and smiles back, you could get the bartender's attention for her, perhaps even ask him to inform the lady that 'the gentleman over there would like to buy you a drink.'

Whatever happens from that point on will tell you if your new approach is a better one.

Now, if she comes right over to you and asks if you want to buy her a drink, know that this one could be trouble. She's possibly looking for a sugar-daddy, and will expect you to keep upping the ante.

This can work in all sorts of places, although it would probably take time. As long as the woman you have your eye on can see that you are occasionally smiling her way, keeping your distance, while you're 'busy' doing something else, like reading a paper or book, chatting with buddies - all innocent and safe things, you are likely to intrigue her. Her smile will tell you if you have a rat's chance in hell.
