Doesn't matter anymore...my town is one of the top places to live in my area and State. We bought our home for 60k because it sat empty and gutted for 18 years. We totally remodeled it. 2 years ago it was appraised at 167k...just this year it was appraised at 148k and we did tons more work, upgraded, remodeled the attic and added 2 bedrooms. New everything. We are constantly keeping up, added hardwood floors on the 1st and 2nd floors, painting, repairing everything that might need repaired etc...

They go by the neighbors down the street who doesn't give a crap about their home and allows it deteriorate making their home worth shit and sold it for pennies making your home you busted your ass for to be worth less....Our home is not worthy of any assholes to have it if they expect to take it for 20k less than originally appraised for.
