J-e-w-s, Catholics (including all Christian off-shoots) and Islam owe their origins to Abraham.

They all believe in the same imaginary being who lives in the sky and hates and loves us at the same time.

This imaginary being, known as God, seems to be preoccupied with tricking his own creation into making a mistake so he can burn them alive forever (which apparently is a fucking long time).

I think you can be good despite how "screwed up" your religion may be. There are good muslims/christians/catholics but also some seriously screwed up sons of bitches too. In the end it ain't the religion, it's the human. The fact most religious books/writings can be twisted so you can promote whatever screwed up shit you want. The opposite is true as well, but it's easier to control with fear and hate. The sooner some sort of worldwide non-religious "optimum good/positive human conduct guide" is released and accepted by the majority, the better. Of course, this would eventually be evolved into a religion, and later edited by our leaders for control. There's no winning with this shit. Just be good, do your best to be good and great person for YOURSELF (it's not selfish to focus on bettering yourself...others will receive the benefit of you being a better person just by being with you), and fight evil if necessary. Just make sure it's ACTUAL evil and not stuff you've been brainwashed to believe is evil.

Not really, Buddhists don't try to shove their beleifs down everyones throats and judge people based on their life choices or beleifs, I personally think if everyone in the world was a Buddhist the world would be a much better place that's coming from an atheist, But no we are stuck with a huge population of retarded ass christians and catholics and muslims.

Because Catholics are evil scum who deserve to die, while Buddhists are not.
