As a mormon missionary, Mitt Romney spent two years living with little money, no TV, no luxury, had to walk or ride a bike, talk to strangers who despised him, accepted dinner at the homes of members, prayed with the sick, .... basically... he was in service to help others.
Or, he could have (maybe) might have been drafted to serve for two years in Vietnam to kill people and break things.
I think he's a better man for being a mormon missionary.
