Last time I checked, this country has been screwed up . . . forever and it always will be because the current twenty and thirty-somethings sure as hell aren't doing anything to fix it.

But if you REALLY want to blame a generation, look to those born between 1930 and 1940 . . . those people, now 70 to 80 years old have ZERO accountability, they don't think they were to blame for ANYTHING.

Better not to blame any generation. What is the point?

For the record; I have four grown children. All four are well educated,working,raising their own families, and have a good moral compass. This I did despite an evil entity that crept into our society in the not too long ago. It came from somewhere on high, and grows stronger every day.

We cannot be spectators in this scenario. We have been led to believe in "fast government"(as in "fast food").
If we would start putting similar analysis and focus into what is happening in our local gov't as we do to football games
we would begin to turn things around.

In my young and unemcumberd days-67,68,69 and 70,my peers and I blamed everything on our parents generation. Me, I wore long hair, spoke of the govt. as 'the man' trusted no one over thirty,that was our motto you know! I had a 57 chevy station wagon that was pretty much a big ole party barge. We smoked pot, and we demonstrated in the streets and campuses across America.

Funny thing happened..WE GREW UP,,We got jobs, joined the service,furthered our educations, started businesses,went to work on raising our kids.

I don't know how to blame my parents generation. I watched my father work himself into an early grave providing for me and my siblings. My mother was a saint..
Somehow, I bet, That my fathers generation could have found a few good ways to blame thier parents generation for things. WW11 would have been a good excuse for them, or even WW1 for that matter. Nope ole dad and mom got jobs,bought a home and raised us kids with morals and a sense of responsibility..

Well, truth is, EVERY generation is to blame for countless problems, that's a fact.

I'm about 4 years younger than you and I've got little to no respect for our parents' generation . . . some were smart and sensible, no doubt . . . mine were basically selfish and they had no compunction about throwing trash out the car windows - to them, the earth was their own trash can . . . they never even TRIED to make this country a better place for themselves, for me, or their future grandchildren . . . and now, all they do is blame and bitch and have spent their entire lives sitting back while this country goes to hell and they would NEVER, EVER admit to any culpability for anything.
