I understand it would be a difficult decision because you have this disaster occuring but still having to act like a regular civilian playing their role in society because you dont know what to make of it. But heres your sign. i suggest you take it and go get a new house 100's of miles away or go on an extended camping vacation if you do not have that kind of money.
