what makes you think god translated the tanach? if i remember correctly it was men who translated the tanach.

and yes it screws the whole thing for hebrew is a very special language, you cannot convey the full meaning of the word if translated. plus you screw the gematria which is a major tool for understanding the torah

No bud, the Jews translated it to the Greek, but they translated some simplistic Trojan horse BS, not the more elaborate stuff they really adhered to.

I've heard that the Jews themselves started translating it for their brethren who had forgotten how to read Hebrew in Gentile lands.
