Near as I can tell it's about how some watery tart threw a sword at some fellow and thus he became king.

king authur is claimed by britain to have ushered in the start of the country, the mighty empire that eventually controlled half of the world.

merlin as lord of beasts, especially the antlered
variety, is a throw back to the earliest settlers
of europe, perhaps the last vestiges of
neanderthal populations, . .passing their
wisdom to the new comers, cro magnons.

guenevere is the flower maiden of spring,
and more, the vegetation goddess of
the planet, the moon maiden of mysteries.

KA is the young new form, and merlin is the old way that dies out.. they had this dependency on each other you know..

It's a tale about the heart of a good King, including loyalty, honor and chivalry. But, as always, man's temptation and sin enter the picture and affects the whole kingdom and even the King himself. In the end, redemption is attained, but nothing is as good as it was before.

THe King Arthur myth is based on a real person--the stories are interesting, and retold and slightly altered every time.

My understanding is this was the point in history when pagans became christians. King Arthur was born a pagan and adopted Christianity as an adult.

Merlin was much older than him, yet the TV series is really great with Merlin playing a younger man. Series is called Merlin--lots of it is on youtube and netflix--brit show.

You might enjoy the bestselling book--the mists of Avalon--an interesting take on that time period.
