Yes, the US has some pretty great technology and yes, they constantly analyze any contingency they think of.

BUT the failure of all you amurkin sheeple is thinking that the US is the only one that does it.

You don't think Iran has intel on US equipment and tactics? You don't think they have military geniuses as well and that they too would have many plans in place.

If the US is holding back on 'super weapons' and other capabilities don't you think Iran is?

Is this going to be a war with Iran, or a war of East vs. West.

The Iranians aren't stupid enough to just send these ships in, but there are other things to consider, like what happens if 1, just one Aircraft carrier gets severely damaged and there are 500-1000 casualties in ONE battle? How would the american sheeple react? How would the world react and what would the thoughts become for US military might?

Maybe they send thousands of ships with cruise missiles, and a few hundred S300's and maybe some surprises of their own? Maybe one aircraft carrier goes down.

Anyone knows that in a vacuum, without public opinion and world opinion and power, the US could win hands down.... BUT again, that's not the game they are playing.

Anybody who thinks that it will be a cake walk for either side is a naive little sheep.
