I think you're right. It doesn't take one big, massive act. Rather, like you said, small, relatively minor acts of kindness and generosity, that, if paid forward, would result in a, as you say, spiral of light. I agree. It's the small things done consistently. And if enough people do those, the change is apparent.

I think a lot of people DO do that now. We don't hear about it, though, because these are every day people doing these things in their normal lives. Not a celebrity or someone who would make news. The good people are the silent majority. It's the freaks who are usually the loudest, and try to attract the most attention.

So besides your plea for people to pay it forward (which I agree with), I would say to those who already make that effort, keep it up! It's the little things that make the most difference in the long run; especially when enough people do them.
