Erdogan daydreaming about Ottoman Empire: Activist

After being rebuffed by the European Union, the Ottoman seeking authorities in Ankara are now trying to portray the country as an ideal Islamic model for the eastern countries, an Analyst tells Press TV.

Mr. Nayan Haydar adds that Turkish authorities have long been waiting at the EU doors for being admitted as a European nation but after being rejected repeatedly by the European countries they now seem to be seeking a neo-Ottoman empire role for themselves to dominate the eastern countries while even forgetting the Palestinian issue and focusing on the Western agenda on the Syrian issue.
