A few months back I found a receipt in my pickup truck from 1989.
The purchase was cantaloupe at .39 cents a pound.
I am not sure what is now but it a lot more than 39 cents.

Not sure what's more shocking the cantelope price/lb. Or that you're driving a 1989 pickup truck, c'mon it's 23 yrs old it must be falling apart?? No??

1971 Chevy Custom 10, older restoration driven quite a bit, haul firewood and supplies and worked hard at times. Payments are 0.0 per month, yearly tags $35. Easy as hell to work on and no computer controls.

1990 Ford F-150, in the family since new, nice shape and maintenance kept up to date. Pulls the 28' travel trailer and everything works like new. Payments are 0.0 per month.

Rollin in a new pickup to keep up with the Jones with payments of $600 per month is not my style.
