I went to the post office today and there was this homeless lady on a cellphone texting.


Anyway, I've been noticing on YouTube and other such places that a lot of homeless people these days actually HAVE cellphones given to them by the homeless people places, which ALSO have free public WiFi!!!

whats wrong with that and what does that have to do with this, alot of homeless people are just normal drug free people in real bad situations

I have been homeless and having a cellphone is a lifesaver. With a cell you can get a job, you can do all kinds of things that would otherwise require you going there in person. If you have to spend all your time running around the city just to try and eat and stay clean. Also when you are a dirty person living out of a backpack, its hard to even approach people or business for a job etc. if you talk to them on a phone, they wont smell you, and they wont see how filthy you are. If you get the chance to meet in person you can put the effort into cleaning up.
I paid for mine, but it should be one of the first things you try to get if you are on your own, get two.

I paid for my phone, just because I was homeless didn't mean that I was taking handouts left and right.

However I believe that giving out cell phones is a great idea. It improves productivity and it allows one to track the users if desired.

The times are only as interesting as your delusional mind allows it to be. In many ways things are not that different today then they were 50 or 100 years ago.
