Why are stars not visible in space?
People have already began questioning Felix Baumgartner's jump. One reason is because 'there are no visible stars'.

It will only take a couple of minutes to read. So, here's the link: [link to scienceray.com]

Re: Why are stars not visible in space?
This contradicts the testimony the astronauts gave during the press conference after they returned from the first moon landing.

I distinctly remember one of them saying that stars were indeed visible. Anyone can see this conference on youtube.

How do the deniers explain this discrepancy?

They are, as long as there's no brighter glare drowning them out.

You can also see them on the videos shown about the astronauts from the Moon, just hard to see because of the resolution of the camera used back then.

And anyway if all the stars lit up the sky and you could see them all through the atmosphere, the Sky would be a brilliant White Light!

Not dark anymore.

Then you are saying people have landed on the moon?

So what makes people think the Jump is fake?
Or the moon landings are fake?

Sorry I worded that incorrectly.

I don't believe we've landed on the moon.

The referenced article is from some unknown writer though. If it was in Scientific American or something like that it would be a different matter. I don't think this view is shared by mainstream scientists.

You can see the stars on the moon of the composite images made from the Moon with Apollo 11. Make sure you look sharp around the glare coming in from the Sun and off to either side of the video.

OP think of it like this....

if your standing in your bedroom at night with the lights on, you are unable to see outside you window, assuming there is no outside light on. yet if you turn off your bedroom light you can pretty much see out the window end even better if the moon is out.

same aspect.

Re: Why are stars not visible in space?
Guys check what Meshran Keshe is saying. The stars are really visible only from within the atmosphere. Even from the Moon they are invisible. You will have to get used to the new theory of the atom, Earth, Sun, Solar System and so on. The light is the plasma and it is created when magnetic pole of one body touches the magnetic body of the other.
That's why during the day we can see the light, when Sun's atmosphere (magnetic pole) touches Earth's. The same about the stars during the night. Above the atmosphere there is nothing what can create the light.
It's completely different than we were tought in schools.
