While I am not going to comment on the book itself.. as I really don't have time to read it before commenting, I will say that if Britain has accepted Guy Mollets offer of an Anglo-French Union there would be no EU.

After the Suez crisis the French PM approached the British PM asking to join in Union with Britain, but that offer was rejected, after which the French went on to sign the Treaty of Rome with Germany.. laying the foundations of the EU we know today.

And today, the 3 main powers have military co-operation treaties tying each other together, treaties that exist outside the EU, and outside of NATO.

What we are seeing with that is the birth of the EU army, a move that gives the EU nuclear teeth and the recent BAe EADS deal would have given them full access to the hardware procurement needed to support the next stages.

We lost a lot of "German".
We, the Germans.

Our kids gone drunk, our people lose quality, our products are more "fast" then "good" and our values vanished, we invite every moran into our homeland and demand knowledge from i.e. India (omfg lol) ..

We have payed the preparations for WW1 last Jannuary 2012 (or was it 2011 already ?) and noone asks how we did that or how we pay the WW2 preparations for the lost war but all people here have a hard standing, the payment is bad, some people work for 1.-€/hr, thats not "German".

We may be still in power because our quality is still good, but we lost our identity and a good chunk of our values.

Enjoy the last Germans on this planet.
We gonna mixed up with all of Europe so we entierly lost the big game. We, the native Germans STILL losing our values, actually we are getting a lot of american style values over here ..

So in short, yes, we totally lost the war and we suffer until today and behind from it.

The Germans lost both Wars. Our world is going in the Opposite direction the Nazis wanted.

Looks can be deceiving. The breakup of the EU looks inevitable, but that's part of the bigger scheme. It's better known as the Hegelian dialectic. By next year the crisis will be unbearable and at the end the desperate and scared citizens of Europe will accept any plan of politicians. In this case giving up their sovereignty and freedom.
Books such as "1984" and "A brave new world" will soon be reality!
