In the video, She said she lied about being from Springfield and was from Mt. Vernon as her shirt would verify...Mom agrees and slurs out "Hometown"...therefore one would assume Missouri is where this family hails from. Ozark descendants most likely, or as you so elegantly described as Arkansawyers.
Here in my part of the country (Deep South)...we just call them Hillbillies or RidgeRunners...Respectfully!
