A wonderful thread Elle Spirit! Very inspired by the poems shared by you and others within the thread.

Commitments and deadlines we impose upon ourselves in our daily routine and workplace at times can be draining. Leaves little time for those moments of silent perspective. I have been guilty of just that lately. But not complaining as all is good :)

Reading your poem Elle (songs of my heart) Felt like a good walk in the park. I had no time for a walk at the time, so I give you a heartfelt thanks for that ;)



A bit of courage and conviction within the rat race with lighter steps. Knowing there is nothing to be won.
I mean even if one 'wins' the rat race, you would still be a rat right.

Yea, think I just stole a quote on the rat race comment, checking... lol

Honey if any of my words, brought you some love and joy, that fills me with the same. When I write I try my best to explain the sensation, of what is felt at that moment. You did give me a idea for more write, such as a walk in the park, but I just got to wait until its ready to flow out. Thank you for sharing with me and us all here

My favorite spot to be when I was 11, was the top of a cherry tree, at that time, where I was living, every tree in the yard was a fruit tree, we had , apple, plum, peach, cherry and mulberry bushes and other kinds of berries.
The peach trees were to low, the plum trees to thin, and the green apple tree was too big, but the cherry tree was just right. After school, I drop my sack and up the tree I went for my after school snack and time for me.

Well most is the same but I don't have that nasty head pain I had the first day. Today is day 3, it's not to bad, so ya I am feel a bit better, thank you to ask with your kind heart.

The inspiration you gave me,

On the Swing

Walking down the path
Almost there
Smell of sweet leaves 
dance in the air     

The wind is blowing, tall grass is flowing, the ducks are eating
While the birds are singing. 

The sky is blue, with clouds of love. 
I run for the swings, to rises above. 
My best meditation, of all time
Swinging on the swing set
With love on my mind. 

Feeling as tho I fly in the air
Each pump I push,
I try harder to get there. 
Taking my time to talk with god, 
Telling him my hopes and how I feel lost. 

What a feeling, to flow through the air. Even tho I can't fly, I still feel as tho I am there. Sitting with him on cloud nine, sharing my thoughts and spending time. 

The wind continues to blow me higher
Helping me out with my desirer
To be with my true love, to dance on the clouds, to give me a chances to see through his eyes, and look down. 

When I'm done, and slow down 
I sit there a moment to look around 
To be thankful for all I see
To know its all part of me. 

To know I am not alone and where I stand, makes me feel part of his grand plans. As we all are, heart to heart, if you get a chance, take a walk in the park.

Well said, my last poem on the swings is my fav, that really is a part of my heart and I love it when I get the chance to swing. I like my owns words so much I think I have retread it like 10 times now, just for the feeling I get reading it. Sleep well my friend <3

If it wasn't raining today, I would have went for a swing lol. If it was still summer, I wouldn't care about the rain, just more to add to the trip :)

Lol ya I was going to add in my cold, but I didn't, but something said you would say that. And for sure I'll keep you up dated on my trip when summer returns. I sat in my yard this year through one rain fall, was something else for sure. I have a hard time to sleep almost every night so, I feel you there. Thank you for your loving healing.

The longing

The longing is much to strong
Day in, day out
Feels as if something's wrong

I don't know why I feel this way
Today I wish I could fly away. 
Be in the stars with you
Enjoying the grand cosmo view

Each day, each night
I bleed out love and light
But what's the purpose 
What's the plan

To die again for each living man. 
Did that once, don't want to do it twice, even tho I would give back my life, on demand to save the love in each human. 

I know, I should not rush,
I must slow down
Yet when I do, that longing comes through, stronger all the time. 

When I ask what is it
My heart says its, every flame yet to be lit. So there must be a lot in the world right now, who need to be touched by love and now. 

What a feat, what a plan, to light up every human. So hear me father, I need your help, to let you know what out. When it's done and all is complete, then I know we will meet. 

Until then I understand
Back to work 
To fulfill your plan.
