Im glad someone else was actualy watching the debates, both sides said no point for citizens to possess any automatic weapons. Romney actually said that all automatic weapons were already illegal for citizens, which is sadly misinformed and both said they didn't favor ANY new laws regarding firearms. This pro-republican cheerleading about the possibility of obama taking away anyones guns is dangerously close to being theopposite of true.

Obama has never attempted to enact ANY new regulations regarding firearms. Romney i fear would try to pass more gun restrictions ESPECIALLY an automatic weapons ban since he seems to think they are already illegal.

I doubt the elections are actually deciding anything more than who will serve as the scapegoat for the predetermined outcome previously decided by the bilgderbergs, the bonesmen and Bohemian grove crew.

Since the two "opposing" groups stole the debates there has only ever been a single third party nominee allowed and that was Ross Perot who had to buy his way on stage.

The repubs and demos are the two sides of the same corrupt coin. The only way we may ever regain our lost freedoms is to get out from under the corporate ogliarchy is to elect an independent canidate which is literally impossible under the current election laws, especially the electoral college.

I stopped any consideration of voting for Obama in the 1st election because he said that he was going to create an internal police force with as much power and money as our external police force. He got elected even after he said that, indicating that most americans want an internal federal police force and the accompanying police state, or most Americans are fucking stupid.

Not really. The bill Romney signed as governor of Massachusetts banned nothing that wasn't already banned at the time he took office. He actually didn't ban anything new.

The place where this could really hurt Democrats isn't with the presidential vote, but in the Senate and House races. The moderates may well decide to offset a vote for Obama with Republican votes for Congress in order to help block the possibility of an AWB.

In any event, I suspect Obama was just pandering to his base, anyway. There's not much support for new gun legislation in Congress. Certain members try every year and fail miserably, because there are far too many rural representatives in both parties that can't support it and keep their jobs.
